  • Global Warranty Management – GWM is the new system replacing WINS for claims processing and submission. Our training will introduce you to the new requirements that become effective when your dealership makes the transition to Global Warranty. This new system streamlines much of the administration process, but also requires much more detailed transaction information.

  • Job Card Documentation – Although the complaint, cause and correction are very important, it isn’t the only necessary documentation required on the job card. We present all of the necessary information that must accompany certain types of repairs and repair situations as well as the additional details that will be required when your dealership transitions to Global Warranty.

  • Service Management Responsibilities – Service Managers have many responsibilities throughout the warranty transaction such as approving related, repeat and add-on repairs, goodwill, extended courtesy transportation, and other labour time. The workshop covers in detail the specific requirements you need to know for each authorization to avoid potential charge backs.

  • GM Programs – Courtesy transportation, paint claims, exchange components, transportation claims, tire warranty, Product Quality Center, and Warranty Parts Center are just a few of the programs within the warranty transaction process that have specific requirements for reimbursement. Many service agents needlessly absorb the cost of services they provide their customers because they aren’t aware or don’t know how to request reimbursements. The workshop will help you understand all available programs and how to collect everything you are entitled to.

  • Rejected Transactions – A significant change with GWM is the ability to correct rejects as they occur. Understanding the fundamental requirements of each type of warranty transaction will lessen the likelihood of getting a reject in the first place thus increasing your efficiency and accuracy.
